How to Install a Trampoline Yourself

Installation is easier than most people expect. If you are handy and do not mind spending 30 minutes to an hour, you can set up a trampoline on your own. All the parts come together in a logical order, and you do not need special skills. A second person makes it faster.

Step-by-Step: How to Install a Trampoline

Phase 1: Prepare Your Workspace and Unpack

  1. Find a flat, clear space where the trampoline will live. A lawn or flat outdoor area works well.
  2. Unbox everything and lay all the parts out flat so you can see every piece before you start.
  3. Read through the manual and familiarise yourself with the parts.

Tip: Have a friend help. An extra pair of hands makes the whole process faster. A power drill saves a lot of time compared to a manual screwdriver for the self-tapping screws.

Phase 2: Build the Frame

  1. Locate the top tubes. Alternate basic T-joints with T-joints that have a socket — the sockets hold the net support poles later.
  2. Place the tubes on the ground with pilot holes facing the inside of the circle.
  3. Insert the top tubes together to form 6 separate sections. Secure each one with screws.
  4. Attach the leg extensions and leg braces to each section, and tighten with the provided bolts, washers, and nuts.
  5. Flip all 6 sections over so the legs are on the ground, then connect them to form one complete circle.

Note: Connecting the first two sections can feel a little stiff, but the rest will slide together easily.

Phase 3: Lay Out the Jump Mat and Safety Net

  1. Unfold the jump mat inside the frame. Make sure the warning labels are facing upward.
  2. Lay the enclosure safety net on top of the jump mat.
  3. Locate the door on the netting and the V-ring on the mat. Push each V-ring up through the corresponding slit in the netting, working your way around the circle.

Important: Check the net orientation before you start. If the net is not aligned with the warning labels and T-joints, you will have to undo it all and start again.

Phase 4: Attach the Springs

  1. Use the included spring-loading tool. Start at the V-ring just to the left of the enclosure door.
  2. Stretch each spring and hook it into the frame hole on the opposite side.
  3. Continue in a clockwise direction, alternating sides to keep even tension, until every V-ring is connected.

Phase 5: Fit the Safety Pad

  1. Unfold the protective pad and place it over the metal frame and springs.
  2. Align the cut-out notches on the pad with the sockets on the frame before tying anything down.
  3. Tie the inner straps through the V-rings and the outer straps around the frame, roughly every 12 to 18 inches.

Phase 6: Assemble and Insert the Net Poles

  1. Slide the metal poles into their foam sleeves.
  2. Join each straight pole to a curved pole, making sure the two holes on the curved section face upward. Secure with a screw.
  3. Attach the plastic pole caps to the top of the enclosure net.
  4. Insert each assembled pole into its cap, making sure the bend faces outward and all holes are aligned.
  5. Starting near the enclosure door, lift each pole and insert the bottom end into the plastic socket on the T-joint frame.

Phase 7: Finish the Frame

  1. Insert the end caps into the open bottom of each leg socket near the ground.
  2. Your trampoline is fully assembled and ready to use.
